We can consider it as an AI because it adapts to its environment and can react on its own, it is able to dissociate the road from obstacles and sidewalks.
This use of Artificial Intelligence could improve the movement of disabled or blind people. They will acquire independence and autonomy of movement. Researchers from the CNRS in Clermont-Ferrand have developed an autonomous vehicle navigating through a camera and an on-board computer serving as its “brain”. This vehicle is currently of the order of the prototype.
We would all dream of having a domestic robot of the same model as Sony from “I, Robot”, a real companion who can think and speak, protect us, etc. Don’t dream it doesn’t exist yet. May be soon .
